All About Hasitha Kelum
My name is Hasitha Kelum Higurage .My village is Horana - Uduwa. now I 22 years old, I have a mother, a father, and one younger brother. My home is very supportive of my art and my mother is especially interested in it. I have been painting since I was a child and will continue to do so.
School and Higher Education
I received my primary education at the Moragahahena Maha Vidyalaya and the secondary education at the Vidyarathna University College, Horana. Subsequently, the art was based on the subject
I was elected to the University of the Visual and Performing Arts and now am. It's an undergraduate. I am studying in the Department of Painting at the University of the Visual and Performing Arts and will be helping to advance the art of Sri Lanka. I am addicted to paintings and have taken a one year course in painting and sculpture at Pelawatta, Battaramulla Folk Art Center.

Personal Goals And Expectations
My main goal is to be an artist. Completing this degree is essential to make it more successful. That is my primary goal. Further, there is great scope to study abroad for further studies on Art after completing this degree. I hope to make it a success and take my artistic journey a long way. There is hope to study printmaking and become an artist.
My Paintings And Art Exhibitions
I use mostly for my paintings the beautiful landscapes found in different parts of Sri Lanka. I use watercolors, acrylics, oil paints, pencils for my paintings.
